Meet The Team

As a team, our Mission is to not only excel in the art of tracking whitetails, but to also inspire the younger generation and non-hunters alike to appreciate the vital role of sustainability in preserving our forests and wildlife. Through our passion for ethical hunting practices, wildlife conservation, and education, we strive to foster a deep understanding and respect for nature, thus encouraging all individuals to become stewards of our precious natural resources.

Joey Davis

Joey Davis is a native Vermonter who has built his contracting business around the outdoors. He was influenced by some of the best-known deer hunters the area had to offer at a young age.

The stories they told about their hunts and the bucks they brought home were the inspiration that led to his passion for tracking whitetails.

Joey resides in Northern Vermont with his wife Jamie and son Cash, who also share his passion for the outdoors.

Dustin Martin

Dustin is an avid outdoorsman who is passionate about exploring mountaintops. He was introduced to hunting by his father and grandfather at a young age. He traveled with them to deer camp throughout his November school breaks. Before he was old enough to carry a gun, he would follow them around in the woods, tracking deer. When he was old enough to carry his own, he never got off the track.

Today, Dustin dedicates most of his free time to hunting and the outdoors. Fortunate enough to have two jobs that allow ample time off in November, he hunts as hard and often as possible. Dustin and his family's business in Stowe, Vermont, ARFA Property Management, manage different associations around town, including the famous Trapp Family Lodge. In addition to property management, they also mow and plow over 50 private homes.

Dustin grew up around ski racing, where he attended the Mount Mansfield Academy from 7 years old. He attended college at St. Lawrence University, competing for the St. Lawrence University Ski Team. He graduated with an Environmental Studies degree and a minor in Sports Studies and Exercise Science.

You can find Dustin on the mountain as the head U12 ski coach for the Mount Mansfield Academy in the winter. Teaching athletes the fundamentals and technical skills necessary to become elite-level downhill ski racers, you can't get him off the mountain, whether hunting or skiing.

Travis Williams

Travis Williams has been a native of New Hampshire for over 44 years. He grew up hunting and fishing with his father. Travis, his wife Kirsten, and their 2-year-old daughter Adelina live in Meredith, New Hampshire, where he works as a Sales Manager. Most of his bucks are harvested by tracking the north woods whitetails of Maine and New Hampshire. Travis is extremely passionate about life, family, and the outdoors.

Cory Ryder

Cory Ryder grew up in Vermont, attended Norwich University, and served 11 years in the Army National Guard. Now calling Maine home, he founded “The Maine Woods” YouTube channel in 2018, which he runs as a full time business. Through his desire to be immersed in and connected with nature, Cory, got into hunting on his own accord, not having grown up in a hunting family. As a self taught hunter and tracker, he was inspired by a man who introduced him to tracking when he was 14 years old in Allagash Maine.

He films his adventures of shed hunting with his faithful black lab “Gracie,” as well as canoe trips, hunting expeditions, and cabin restorations.

Hunting is a pursuit and tracking is the ultimate pursuit of a whitetail buck on his own terms. It’s all about the adventure and it’s the size of the hunt that matters.

"Just keep going”

Jamie Dragon-Davis

Jamie was born and raised in Vermont and is quite the maple syrup enthusiast. You could call her the OG Elf. She has experienced most of what Vermont has to offer. From conservation and outdoor activities to owning a small business in one of Vermont's largest tourist towns to representing Vermont as Miss Vermont USA. She has quite the entrepreneurial spirit and is always looking for expansive opportunities.

Although Jamie grew up in a hunting family, she didn't begin hunting until later in life when she met her husband, Joey. Once she experienced her first time in the woods, she was hooked and found it was the perfect compliment and balance to her hectic lifestyle. In a world fueled by tech and busyness, she's made it a mission to help others experience a life of reconnecting to themselves, nature, and what it means to be human. Further extending that mission into parenthood provides time spent with family and keeping valuable traditions alive.

Brent Dragon

Brent's love for hunting and the outdoors began at an early age. At 10 years old, his father asked him to deer camp. This allowed him to learn a great deal of respect for animals and the outdoors. Once he turned 12, he was able to harvest his first Vermont buck with his father by his side. This is an experience that he wishes every father/son could have, as it will never be forgotten.

Brent has been very fortunate to hunt deer in the states of Vermont, Maine, New York, Ohio, Illinois, Kansas, Iowa, Montana, as well as the Canadian providences of Ontario, Saskatchewan, and Alberta. This has brought him full circle from his start of hunting the Northeast from still hunting, a little tracking, then to the Midwest and to Canada stand hunting.

Brent and his wife June of 28 years, along with their Black lab Bella have just built a new camp in the Northeast Kingdom of Vermont. He is looking forward to learning the big woods of the Kingdom, New Hampshire, and Maine.

Brent has spent 30 years racing late model asphalt cars for the American Canadian tour and the Pro all-star series. He traveled through New England and Canada with the fortune of many victories, some in the most prestige's races in the Northeast and Canada. He has now turned that dedication into hunting whitetails in the Northeast, where it all started 40 years ago.

Shane Sanvil

Shane grew up in Vermont but currently resides in the White Mountains of New Hampshire. For as long as Shane can remember, his dad had him and his twin brother in the woods, learning to be a sportsman. The memory of watching his brother harvest his first deer at 9 years old is still so vivid. He has grown and learned so much from his dad since that day. His passion for the outdoors is what drives him to be the best sportsman and deer hunter he can be.

It wasn't long before his dad began dragging him and his brother to Maine, where that initial memory slowly grew into a passion for hunting the big woods. He recently began shed hunting with his dog Daisy and good buddy Johnny Hood. Shane's dad is why he has such a passion for hunting God's beautiful creation, and he can't thank him enough for introducing him to the sport. Shane now takes an annual trip to Maine with his family and friends to continue igniting that passion and sharing a tradition.
